Ireland's Report Card is one of 14 other countries in the first Global Matrix of Grades. This is a 'Call to Action' from a global perspective. Bring Back Play! Childhood Obesity Campaign Update
On behalf of safefood and Healthy Ireland the IPPEA would like to support the Childhood Obesity campaign encouraging families to be more active. People are being encouraged to vote on their favourite games from your childhood and then introduce these games to their own children. When you get a spare minute, please go to the safefood website to vote for your favourite childhood game. Consider teaching your favourite game to the children you teach for break time play to encourage more physical activity.
Annual Conference 2014 - Out and About
Thank you to the IPPEA members who attended this year's 11th Annual Conference at Carlingford Adventure Centre, Co. Louth. We had a wonderful day with beautiful spring weather!
We would like to thank you for giving up your Saturday to support Physical Education and the IPPEA on Saturday, 1st March. We were aware that some people travelled considerable distances. We were so pleased that you signed up well in advance of the conference which made planning and the investment of time to prepare so much more enjoyable and reassuring. The support at our AGM was very encouraging. We are delighted to have new committee members on board.
You received the workshop notes in your conference pack this year. Conference materials now available to download in colour in the Members Section here.
If you have not yet renewed your membership please click here for the membership form. Membership for all members will expire on the 31st March.
Many thanks for your continued support!
